SVChronicle reporters today spotted quite a few folks with Dropbox T-Shirts giving away some cards that actually gave users 1 TB in storage online, plus an additional 10 dollars in cash for doing so. When our puzzled reporter asked them where the catch was, one of the reps revealed that since users were not signing up even after being offered money to store online, Dropbox has chosen this route. “See we cut prices, then Google cut prices, then we said free, they said free.
