The million dollar contest for Yahoo employees has a winner: ‘Yahoo Is A Personalization Company’.
“Everyone has been asking me ‘What Is Yahoo?’ – the fact is we do everything online that has the slightest hope of making money. We buy anyone who is willing to sell. But I am glad I have the answer for that question – we will be a personalization company for a month, or until I change it again, whichever happens earlier” Marissa told Michael Arrington on stage at TechCrunch Disrupt SF.
Meantime, Kara Swisher is reporting that Yahoo employees have requested the leadership team to change the frequency of the ‘What Is Yahoo?’ contest to weekly instead of monthly.
